Moments: your guests' photo gallery

Moments is a shared photo gallery for your event. Guests scan a QR code with their phone camera and add photos. There's no app to install and no sign-up. Everyone sees the gallery fill up, and you can play a live slideshow on a TV or projector during the event.

Turn on Moments

1. Open the event and go to the Event day tab.
2. Choose Moments.
3. Tap Enable. The panel then shows the photo count, View gallery, Live view and the Guest upload QR.

Tap Disable at any time to stop new uploads.

Share the QR code with guests

Under Guest upload QR you'll find the QR code and a Copy link button.

• Print it on table cards, the programme or a poster at the entrance.
• Show it on screen at the start of the reception.
• Share the link in a WhatsApp group if you prefer.

Guests who open their contribution page also see Share event photos, which leads to the same gallery.

What guests see

When a guest scans the code, the Event Memories gallery opens on their phone. They:

1. Tap Add Your Photo and take a picture or choose one from their phone.
2. Optionally type Your name (optional) so the photo shows "Photo by …".
3. Wait for Photo added to the gallery!

Guests can browse every photo, use Share on WhatsApp, and Download All as a ZIP file.

To prevent abuse, each phone or network can add up to 10 photos per hour. If a guest hits the limit, they can try again a little later.

Live slideshow on a screen

Tap Live view and open it on a laptop connected to a TV or projector. New photos appear on their own as guests upload them, with the prompt Take a photo and add it to the gallery. Keep the printed QR code nearby so more guests join in.

Remove or hide a photo

You decide what stays in the gallery. Under Guest photos on the Moments panel you see every photo guests have added.

1. Tap Select, then tap the photos you want. A tick marks each one.
2. Choose what to do:
   • Hide takes the photos off the gallery and the live view at once. They stay in your list, dimmed and marked Hidden, so you can Show again later.
   • Delete removes them for good, including the stored file. Confirm in the window that opens. This can't be undone.
3. Tap Done to leave selection.

After the event

• Open View gallery and use Download All to save every photo as one ZIP file.
• Photos stay available for 7 days after the event date, then expire automatically. Download them before then.

FAQ

Do guests need the Shereko app or an account?

No. Any phone with a camera and a browser can scan the code and upload.

Can I remove a photo?

Yes. On the Moments panel, tap Select, pick the photo and choose Hide or Delete. See Remove or hide a photo.

Why can't a guest upload?

Check that Moments is still enabled and the guest has internet. If they added more than 10 photos in the last hour, they need to wait a little.

How long are photos kept?

For 7 days after the event date. Download the full gallery with Download All to keep your memories.
